Overwhelmed But Up A Tree |

I hear 'Overwhelmed' a lot at the moment. Overwhelm: buried or drowning beneath a huge mass of something. Overwhelm: having a strong emotional effect on. Overwhelm. Is that you right now? As the term and the year draw to a close? As it gets darker and colder and more frantic...If it is, then there are no quick fixes, however: 1. It is OK to feel overwhelmed. Accept it, name it, maybe even welcome it. 2. It will pass - probably not when or how you wish - but it will pass. 3. Climb a tree. (safely) Why a tree? Because it's different. Because it's new. Because it's a challenge. Because going up might just give you a better perspective than the one you have right now, going along. Vertical adds a new dimension to horizonal. Find out about my experience of Social Tree Climbing in this short podcast (choice of platform) Spotify Apple Anchor FM And take a quick look here on Vimeo Scared of heights? Or scared of trees? And if not trees, how else can you get a totally different perspective on overwhelm? How can you step back, step up, step around, to see it in another way....? Look out next year for Thinking Classroom Tree Climbing; transforming, changing perspective, thinking from up high. Warm Regards, |
